Walser House comprises 5 ancient Walser suites, finely restored to maintain their authentic charm. Each suite is unique, furnished with original antique furniture and equipped with a wellness area.
La Stalla
A journey through history and art: this suite features atmospheric exposed stone and a grand mural of a classic Rimellese room. Its most unique feature is the illuminated walk-on glass floor, showcasing ancient artisan tools preserved in time. With a Genoese Empire bed nestled in a romantic niche and a high-end Teuco hydro-shower, comfort meets heritage. This suite can be combined with 'La Stalla' and 'Il Focolare' for a seamless group experience for up to 6 people.
Il Focolare
Spanning an entire floor, this Executive Suite offers ultimate privacy and charm. The living space is centered around a rustic stone fireplace, complemented by a private bedroom and bathroom. Its highlight is the private Turkish bath with chromotherapy, set within the original stone-vaulted cellar formerly used for aging local ‘tome’ cheeses. Complete with a ‘lobia’ (a traditional Walser wooden balcony) and a panoramic terrace, it’s a true blend of history and comfort. This suite can be interconnected with 'Il Focolare' and 'La Stalla' to accommodate groups of up to 6 guests.
Ottocento
Located on the second floor, this suite boasts a charming vaulted timber ceiling and walls built in the traditional blockbau style with interlocking logs. A contemporary crystal partition divides the living space from the stone bathroom and its private Jacuzzi, blending heritage with modern luxury. Outside, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air from your private panoramic terrace or the 'lobia', a historic Walser wooden gallery.
Il Fienile
Immerse yourself in tradition in this all-wood Executive Suite. The authentic rustic décor is enhanced by a sophisticated rotating fireplace, perfect for cozy alpine evenings. A mezzanine sleeping area features both a double and a twin room, while the bathroom offers ultimate relaxation with a Teuco multi-function shower and a private Finnish sauna. Complete with access to the 'lobia', the ancient wooden gallery typical of Walser architecture.
The Fireplace
Situated 100 meters from the main structure, this exclusive stand-alone Executive Suite offers a secluded and authentic experience, deeply rooted in the local landscape. The layout includes a wide living zone with a sofa bed, a master double bedroom, a bathroom, and a private, sun-drenched terrace. For ultimate well-being, it boasts a whirlpool tub and a premium Hafro steam shower with an integrated Turkish bath.
